Hotels can vary greatly in size and shape, with the larger hotels handling a wide variety of events, from corporate exhibitions and wedding receptions to award ceremonies and banquets. The following example is for a moderately sized hotel lobby with lounge and retail store, but leaves much room for expansion.

Only three of the NT2508 Network Amplifier’s eight output channels are utilized in this example, with only 4 to 6 speakers being utilized on a single 70V distributed audio system. This leaves much room for expansion, with five 250 Watt channels still available for banquet halls, meeting rooms and more.

Audio can be supplied to the powerful DMP8800 Digital Matrix Processor that offers 8 low-noise preamplifiers and a host of signal processors. This unit can be simply networked with the NT amplifier providing a simple yet flexible audio distribution.

Another setup option would be to run the DMA8825 Digital Matrix Amplifier instead of the DMP and NT systems. This provides a completely integrated system but less flexibility when it comes to amplifier placement in relation to the input sources.

Asystems video products (not pictured) can also be incorporated into the mix. These are particularly useful in banquet halls for incorporation of live video and presentations. Dante Audio Networking cards are an optional component.
